He grew up under their banner, knowing only of the Imperial ways. The only thing he retained from his homeland were tales of the Judges, which fascinated and inspired him to take it upon himself to embody their oaths and duties, even while in service to Garlemald.Joining the Empire’s military willingly, Ranavos sought to aid them in their quest to bring order and justice to this Star, blind to the crimes the nation committed, for he truly believed what they did was just.After years of brutal military service in the IVth Legion, Ranavos had obtained the rank of Decurio, but slowly, the truth of the world had begun to seep in. He knew the nation he served was corrupt, change needed to happen, but how? As countless failed resistances had demonstrated, outside influences couldn’t change Garlemald. No, something needed to happen from within.And so he vowed. He would continue to serve till he gained a significant rank that can induce inner change to the nation. A fool’s wish.His ambitions would be cut short. During an excursion in Othard, a jealous Pureblood orchestrated a betrayal that should have left Ranavos dead. It seems however, that the Fates intervened, gracing him with a new life.Now living in self exile. Ranavos hopes that one day he may return to Garlemald, join the Popluaries, and usher in virtues worth keeping. Till then, he offers his swordarm to any in need in the name of justice and order, continuing his Judge’s duty.

With the Star still recovering from the events of the assumed Final Days, Ranavos has made it his duty to aid in Garlemald's recovery, searching for any lost souls in need of succor among the city ruins and frigid wastelands.Venturing outside of Garlemald, he frequents the Hunt boards searching for any bounties that require vile beasts to be slain. A good excuse to keep his blades and combat skills sharp during this moment of peace.
